Beginning 12:30 pm on 9 April, and organized by students from The University of Hong Kong, participants will stand silently in a 27 hour relay to support the anti-trafficking movement.
Hundreds of enslaved fishermen rescued in Indonesia

More than 300 fishermen were rescued by the Indonesian government from forced labour and slavery in the remote island of Benjina. The group of fishermen, who mainly came from Myanmar, as well as from Cambodia, and Thailand, were freed following an investigation into claims of human trafficking by the Associated Press news agency.

Report submitted to the Committee against Torture in Hong Kong

On March 31, 2015, Justice Centre submitted a shadow report to the Committee against Torture for the 5th Periodic Report cycle for Hong Kong. The report includes a section which highlights that the HKSAR Government is not taking sufficient steps to combat human trafficking in all its forms.
